I'm 24, and would love to grow a bit of a beard, but I don't have enough hair follicles to grow anything serious.
Does anyone have any tips for encouraging the hair to grow? I tend to wet shave, which I reckon will help speed things up, as it catches all the tiny bum fluff hairs and turns them into men.
Any thoughts?

It's genetic. Some guys have facial hair, others don't. It doesn't make you more or less of a man either way. Unfortunately, there isn't more you can do to encourage growth. This is why many people opt for mustaches, soul patches, goatees, chops - it's all where their hair on their face grows.
Sorry for the kind of lame answer, but that's how it goes.
