Question about Trusting and Believing...?

Can anyone tell me how you can make your bf/gf believe in you and trust you? I've been w/my bf for 2yrs now and many times I would have to separate myself from him just cause of his unrighteous ways. I feel that spending time apart would do good for the right reasons. I just visited him for a couple of weeks and he thinks that I've messed around just cause he noticed some type of redness lil bumps just below his abdomin similiar to mine after having sex w/him. I was telling him that it could be from he never used lubrication and I had ingrown hair from shaving that just irritated me. Not only that,he usually doesnt wash afterwards! He just wipes off. I would always tell him that I have never cheated or messed around him and hes the best I've ever had. He can never believe me. I just told him to go see a doctor and he can tell you the facts. Just a FYI, this happened like twice and the first time he went w/me to see a doctor, the dr said it wasnt a std just an ingrown hair follicle.

Question about Trusting and Believing...?

Honestly, I would tell your boyfriend to quit freaking out. You are a loyal person and he needs to trust you or move on because you don't have the patience to constantly defend yourself. If he's had someone cheat on him in the past, I would tell him not to punish you for someone elses bad deeds. You sound like you're loyal so he needs to back off! Good luck.

Question about Trusting and Believing...?

You cannot "make" anyone trust you...that comes over time when you've shown them you are someone who is worthy of their trust...with some people it may take time, if they've had their trust betrayed before. They won't tend to give it so easily.

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin

I never had any type of intercourse, it was a white bump then it got itcy and i forgot it was there, i only just notice this 4 dayz ago and now its red and my pubic hair is still growing out of the bump so i have no clue i had a bump all i know is that it wasnt there last month, im worried i really hope this isnt a STD can someone please help me, should i be worried? im only a 16 yr old female is this something serious?? the red bump dont hurt at all not even when i touch it and i didnt pop it because im scared to and im scared to go to the doctor i just need to know is this serious please let me know im freaking out, i been searching for answers but its between molluscum contagision and ingrown hair and hair follicle and so far molluscum sounds like the worst but i took a good look and i only have one bump please is this serious??

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

It could be related to an ingrown hair (I've had these before because of shaving my pubic area). I know it can be scary going to the doctor sometimes especially when it comes to our private area but I would recommend letting your mom know what's going on and have this evaluated further by your doctor to see what they think is going on.

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

see your doctor its most likely just a harmless skin tag

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

hm.. go to your doctor :]]

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

It's very common to get a pimple in your pubic area...it's from ingrown hair follicules. I get them all the time, nothing to worry about, just put some neosporin on it, it will shrink it. No it's not serious.

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

if there is a hair growing out of it i am guessing it is and ingrown hair, it should go away in a couple of days. im no doctor though. i wouldn't worry about it, its not an STD

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

bug bite

Okay, i have a red bump on my pubic area i never had any type of intercourse it don hurt or anythin what is it

It does not sound like Mul Con. Normally you do not get "One" bump for Mul Con, but a few or many. It grows to become visible dimension. It is just an infection. I think you can feel bloods and milky stuffs inside. It is not STD. Do not worry. Keep it clean. Eat more fresh fruits and vege. Stop deep fried foods and roasted nuts. You if want, you can use tea tree essential oil. either pure, or, dilute in aloe gel (25drops in 100ml aloe gel to become 1%). Apply on the infected area.

It is not serious.

Everyone has more than 5 kinds of virus in the body. Virus can come from anywhere through many channels. Family and friends transmit most virus to you.

I have a leg shaving problem. I use to shave my legs all the time and they were fine but i finally..

what my legs look like now. they have like black dots all over them and i squeeze them the hair follicle comes out but i have a lot of them and i know that can't be the only way to get rid of them. I don't have ingrown hairs I know that for a fact but it jus sucks cause i want to wear shorts but i can't because my legs looks so bad. Help me

I have a leg shaving problem. I use to shave my legs all the time and they were fine but i finally....?

You could wax your legs instead of shaving.

I have a leg shaving problem. I use to shave my legs all the time and they were fine but i finally....?

ohhk uhh... this is hard just dont shave have ur mom or dad hide u razor every wweek after u shave so u only shave one time a week

I have a leg shaving problem. I use to shave my legs all the time and they were fine but i finally....?

First, stop squeezing them it doesn't help the situation. I would exfoliate your legs and then don't shave for a few days to allow the hair to grow out past the surface. After that you should be fine to shave and wear shorts, but don't pick at it, just makes it worse. Exfoliate weekly.

I have a leg shaving problem. I use to shave my legs all the time and they were fine but i finally....?

I would recommend getting laser hair removal. It's an easy, almost completely painless surgery that will leave you follicle free forever after just a few simple treatments. I've gotten it done to my whole body (minus my scalp) because hair really freaks me out and I would obsessively shave everywhere everyday. Now they're all gone, and it will work for you too! The price is a little steep and varies depending on where you live but it's around $1000 for both legs to be done. Which, if you think about how much you spend on razors-they would add up to much more than that by the time you pass on. And with laser surgery-it's gone forever!

You can defiently find more information about this online but you should check at your local doctors office, cosmotologists office, beautician, or perhaps even in the phone book! I'm sure you'll find something.

Good luck!

I have a leg shaving problem. I use to shave my legs all the time and they were fine but i finally....?

get your legs waxed

Try some other hair removal method, which may be more suitable.

Men's health question?

I have v. small lump on one of my testicles - looks just like a hair follicle but is ever so slightly bigger and a bit painful when pressed. Is thos just a cyst or something more sinister? It's definitely on the skin, and not actually on the the testicle.

And before anyone says 'Go to the doctor', I'm doing that anyway!

Thanks

Men's health question?

It may well be a furuncle, which is an infection of a hair follicle. If it is, the doc will probably squeeze it and give ya some antibiotics.

Men's health question?

Good I am glad your going to the doctor as any foreign lumps, bumps or seemingly harmless articles appearing on your body warrant a visit to your doctor. It sounds to me as though its an ingrown hair from what you have said %26amp; this will easily be treated. I hope all is well for you...take care.

HEY GUYS LOOK SENSIBLE MAN, bet he don't get man flu LOL

Men's health question?

This sounds like the begginings of a scrotal abscess or maybe something more sinister. Going to the doc is the best advice anyone can give right now so you are doing the right thing.

Men's health question?

Sounds like an ingrowing hair, really sore like a bad spot! Glad you are mature enough to go and see the doc, good luck.

Men's health question?

have had similar and that was just a hair folicle that was infected

Men's health question?

Could be cyst so best to get it checked professionally.

Men's health question?

Its just an infected hair follicle , give it a squeeze ,out comes the pus an thats it

Men's health question?

Its probably nothing and especially since it si a bit painful. Some forms of testicular cancer are however very aggressive so you must not delay in going to your GP.

In the age of space travel, flex fuel, and cloning, why do I still have to pull a sharp blade across

Really. Why do men still have to shave. I know there have been some products, but where is the lotion you put on evey day to keep the follicle dormant, or something like that. Seems silly we can re-create conception but cant stop a hair follicle long term in any affordable way.

In the age of space travel, flex fuel, and cloning, why do I still have to pull a sharp blade across my face?

There is always the laser hair removal option if you want to pay for it...

You could also try "shave minimizer" lotions (I think Aveeno makes one, and there are some others) but you have to use them for quite a while before you notice a difference.

In the age of space travel, flex fuel, and cloning, why do I still have to pull a sharp blade across my face?

true enough but just quit shaving

In the age of space travel, flex fuel, and cloning, why do I still have to pull a sharp blade across my face?

I have heard that soon there will be enough wars that even hair on your head won't grow, least the one on your face...

In the age of space travel, flex fuel, and cloning, why do I still have to pull a sharp blade across my face?

Hey!, don't always look to the other guy. If you think of a good idea, work on it. Take whatever courses are necessary to get started, then do it.

Plucking between Eyebrows?

there are a few stray hairs not dark and are not very long near the centre of eyebrows, but im just wondering if someone plucks these hairs wont they just come back thicker and darker??its not noticable though but a little annoying,

my friend said that after a little while the hair follicle will get damaged due to plucking and so will not produce hair there.

im just scared if i start plucking their i will have to keep on doing it and it will b high maintenance.

my parents wont let 2have it waxed so plucking it is.

please girls help me give me some advice

thank you

xxx

Plucking between Eyebrows?

I do it but it's only because mine are dark. It probably will be high maintenance but if you really can't stand them do it, but they will grow back darker. However, if they are light i would just try and ignore them. I don't know what your friend is on about I've plucked my eyebrows for 5 years since i was 11 and the hair still grows back thickly.

Plucking between Eyebrows?

I don't see any reason why you shouldn't pluck them.

Plucking between Eyebrows?

Threading is an old hair removal technique and inexpensive method.

More details available at http://www.hairremoval.in/threading.html

Proper way to condition?

Here are the 2 common theories on hair conditioning:

1. Apply conditioner to the ends of your hair and not the scalp so it doesn't weigh your hair down.

2. Apply conditioner all over your head because the scalp needs conditioning just as much as the hair follicle.

SO WHICH IS CORRECT?

Proper way to condition?

Well, I've alway conditioned just the end of my hair. But I was never told it was so that my hair wasn't weighed down. It's because if you put conditioner all over your head, then your hair gets really greasy even quicklier.

But there are certain conditioners that you meant to put all over your head.

Proper way to condition?

Your first answer is actually correct. Your scalp has it's own natural oils so there is no need to condition the scalp even after shampooing.

Proper way to condition?

#1 is correct. And you cannot condition the hair follicle since it is in your scalp. So keep the conditioner on the ends and not on the scalp.

Is it ok if epilating/waxing causes bleeding?

I've waxed my legs before with no problem, and I recently bought an epilator. I love it for my legs - it's quick, not messy, and leaves my legs pretty hairless except for the really really fine tiny hairs.

I tried it on my underarms recently (which I only ever shaved) and it hurt so much. It did manage to rip up the root of most of the hair, but blood came to the surface of the skin where the hair was.

Is this ok? Will this permanently damage my skin in some way? I don't mind if the hair follicle scars and won't grow back - that's good, unless it's very visible from the surface. But will it affect other skin functions, cause irritation later on, etc?

Is it ok if epilating/waxing causes bleeding?

why would you do that

Is it ok if epilating/waxing causes bleeding?

Well the bleeding I think is normal. Atleast I hear about it all the time.

If you are still concerned I would reduce waxing and use Veet or Nair instead for that beautiful glow.

Is it ok if epilating/waxing causes bleeding?

its not ok

Is a drug test required during a custody battle in Alabama?

If so then would it be a urine test or hair follicle?

Do they only test at the request of a judge or can either party request it?

If you have a prescription for lortab, is that bad if it shows up on test day? I have had a legitimate prescription for about 1 1/2 years and would like to know if the courts would see that as a bad thing even though I need them and I get them legally.

The reason I wanted to know about the hair follicle is because I smoked marijuana about 2 months ago. I know I screwed up. Seemed harmless at the time. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Is a drug test required during a custody battle in Alabama?

Is a drug test required during a custody battle in Alabama?

***Drug tests are not required or performed in a custody case unless there are allegations of drug abuse by either parent. ****

If so then would it be a urine test or hair follicle?

****The answer to this question depends on the judge. For drugs, the test will generally be a hair follicle test, but it just depends upon the judge and the court and the resources of the parties.

Do they only test at the request of a judge or can either party request it?

****Either party can do a Motion For A Drug Test and it is within the judge's discretion to order it.

If you have a prescription for lortab, is that bad if it shows up on test day? I have had a legitimate prescription for about 1 1/2 years and would like to know if the courts would see that as a bad thing even though I need them and I get them legally.

***The drug testers will ask you what drugs you are taking. If you have a legitimate prescription for Lortab due to pain, then the test results will not be held against you. If the Lortab prescription is bogus, however, the drug test results will be held against you and will be one of the factors the court uses to determine whether or not you should get custody or supervised visitation.

The reason I wanted to know about the hair follicle is because I smoked marijuana about 2 months ago. I know I screwed up. Seemed harmless at the time. Any info is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

****Usually, the test for marijuana only shows if the marijuana was smoked within the last 30 days. In any case, if drug use is an issue and your test is positive, it could adversely affect your position in the custody case.

Is a drug test required during a custody battle in Alabama?

Generally it's not required. But if the mother of the children brings up the issue of drug issue. The judge may require it. You probably won't get into any legal trouble, as in fine or arrest, but it may hurt your chances with gaining custody of your kids if you drop dirty.

If you have a prescription for something, that is fine. If they issue a drug test, just bring in the prescription and explain the circumstances and you will be fine.

Most courts don't require a hair follicle test, they are fairly expensive. Urine test is pretty much the standard.

2 months since last marijuana use, you should be fine either way.

As for drug use in general. You have kids, you are fighting for your kids. Knock it off. No matter what you feel about marijuana, you made the choice to have kids. They don't need to be knowing that daddy smokes weed (believe me, kids know).

Is a drug test required during a custody battle in Alabama?

Whether or not you get the narcotics legally... I think it looks bad that you have been on them for a year and a half. If you are in a situation that you have that much pain then they might see you less able to care for a child(ren) because of your condition.

Either way, I think that is wayyy to long to be taking an addictive medication!!

Biology question about drug used for chemotherapy?

5-Fluoro-uracil (5-FU) is a drug commonly used in chemotherapy treatment of cancer. Cancer cells are usually very fast growing cells; other cells in your body, which are also fast growing, are bone marrow cells (which produce red and white blood cells) and hair follicle cells (which produce hair). Suggest why 5-FU can be a good treatment for cancer. Also, describe why 5-FU has side effects of low blood counts and hair loss.

Biology question about drug used for chemotherapy?

5-FU is an anti-metabolite which means it resembles a naturally occurring nuclear structural component. After being converted to its active form in the body, 5-FU is competes with deoxyuridine monophosphate (dUMP) for the enzyme thymidylate synthetase. The binding of 5-FU to thymidylate synthetase prevents the cell from producing thymidine and consequently thymine (one of the four base pairs of DNA) resulting in decreased DNA synthesis, imbalanced cell growth and cell death. 5-FU is also inhibits RNA synthesis by acting as an analog for uracil. DNA and RNA synthesis is necessary for cell replication so the faster a cell duplicates the more affected it will be. As you stated, cancer cells are usually very fast growing cells. This makes 5-FU a good treatment for cancer since it slows or prevents tumor growth. However, chemotherapy drugs not only affect cancer cell but all cells in the body. Therefore, 5-FU also has a significant impact on other fast growing cell such as bone marrow and hair follicles resulting in low blood counts and hair loss.

Biology question about drug used for chemotherapy?

I'm a Realtor but having had four minor and three major cancers, I know quite a bit. I also have ITP but all the standard remedies failed.

Your questions sounds like your prof is asking you to think creatively. Too bad that you're not up to it.

What is wrong with this picture? see below?

I used to belong to this church that would constantly harp on you to attend the business meetings and in this denomination they do 1 per quarter 4X a year, they would be on you like a nit on a hair follicle to attend.

Yet this same church could not find time or make it a proirity to have felowship, coffee house care groups or cell groups, and when they had to cancel such events they never rescheduled, and the rare times they did have these events were few and far between,

I find this to be very wrong and unsettling? Do you feel there is something wrong with this picture?

What is wrong with this picture? see below?

It looks like the church was more interested in turning a profit than saving anyone's soul. I'm sure the preacher gave plenty of "money" sermons in your old church. Perhaps they are hoping to be a mega-church like Joel Osteen's. Did the preacher preach nothing but positive things to the congregation?

What is wrong with this picture? see below?

I think this is merely typical for religions all over the world. sad but true.

What is wrong with this picture? see below?

Yes, it is unsettling and unfortunately all too common today.

Will threading....?

destroy the hair follicle and retard hair growth over a period of time like waxing is said to do since they are both methods of pulling hair out?

Will threading....?

Waxing and threading are both methods of pulling out hair. When hair is waxed or threaded on a regular basis, the hair follicle will develop scar tissue and will start to come back thinner and slower. Over time eventually not growing back at all. The downside is it takes years of waxing or threading for it to stop growing.

Will threading....?

threading takes some of the hair right out of the root and then just cuts the others off at the top of the skin.. but over time it does stunt the hairgrowth, i prefer it to waxing =]

Will threading....?

no you see the difference is when you wax the wax pulls of a thin layer of skin which is bad and exposes your skin to harmful sunrays while threading just pulls your hair out...it doesn't destroy the folical at all

How do i friggin get rid of these brown dots on my leggg!!!?

okay so i have these brown dots all over my legs.

and no its not because of my shaiving. my legs have just always been like this.

but i have heard that its darkening of the hair follicle

and i have also heard to that you can get laser hair removal to get rid of it.

well im only 16 and hair removal is deffinitely not an option. especially since I'm only 16 and its a lot of money.

so does anybody know if there are ways to get rid of these annoying ugly brown dots??

such as a cream or something??

How do i friggin get rid of these brown dots on my leggg!!!?

SOUNDS LIKE FRECKLES!!!! DEAL!

How do i friggin get rid of these brown dots on my leggg!!!?

Try going to a doctor, they can subscribe you a cream or something to help it go away.

Or talk to your parents about it.

How do i friggin get rid of these brown dots on my leggg!!!?

darker type of freckles perhaps, go consult a dermatologist dear.

How do i friggin get rid of these brown dots on my leggg!!!?

R U girl?

On which part of leg u have the brown dot.Lower or upper region like near to your lower abdoman. from how long u have.Anything else are u feeling within ur body unnatural like stiffness of pain?

What is this?

There is this bump thing near the base of my penis. Its kinda redish around that area. Its about 1/4th of an inch in length and half that size in width. Its been there since yesterday. Ive always had a really small 'bump there though, which just seemed to be a hair follicle, (ive had the small 'bump' ever since i hit puberty.) but now theres a pimple looking bump there. Im thinking this is either a pimple, or a ingrown hair. but i could be wrong.

My reason why it could be a pimple:

Im embarrassed to say this but i havent washed that area in a long while. and it is a little dirty down there..

Reason why it could be a ingrown hair:

There are small hairs growing around this bump which means this could be a hair that cant find its way out.

Oh by the way, i know this aint the place for this kind of question but the 'health' section is going slow and wont show my question.

What is this?

hate to tell ya this dude...but yer gonna die...

What is this?

Sounds like a blood blister and that has nothing to do with hair. Have a doctor take a look at it and lance it if necessary and by all means wash the area.

Need Some Help ASAP!!!?

I have a huge problem. The Children's Aid have been really set on bothering me when i am a good mom and they make no issues or anything about my husband but because my dad has history with them then they feel the need to pick on me.

On Dec13th my brother called them and said i was a drug user(which i am not) so i volunteered to do a hair follicle drug test even though they never asked for it, i just wanted them to see i don't use drugs.

The hair was taken on January 18th and the tests came back today and they said i tested positive for weed. I was like WTF?!?! you guys are liars and did something to falsify the test. They wouldn't give me any particulars on the test itself, not even the phone number of the lab that conducted the test.

They said i test with 0.25 ng/mg and yet my husband tested negative.

I am 36 weeks pregnant and would never ever use drugs so i am just wondering does anyone here know what the levels are?

low, medium, high and what does ng/mg mean?

Need Some Help ASAP!!!?

I'm so sorry to hear that, it must be very distressing for you. It may be possible that they made a mistake as they probably do many of these tests and could have easily got the results mixed up. This is not fair on you.

I am not sure what the levels are but you should contact them and look into this further and talk to someone.

good luck

xxxx

Need Some Help ASAP!!!?

Im only a kid so I dont really know, but I just wanted to say that thats tough and GOOD LUCK!

Need Some Help ASAP!!!?

If you were around someone that has smoked weed around say about 2 months ago the it can still be in your hair. Whenever you ingest something like any chemicals it has to grow out of your hair and if it's long and you don't cut it then it will stay in your hair. I'm not saying you did smoke weed but it could have come from you being around someone that does.

Good luck

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

Goose bumps are caused by the erector pili muscles, the tiny muscles that are connected to each hair follicle and the skin. When they contract, a "goosebump" forms, causing the hair around it to stand erect.

In nature, the purpose of "hair raising" is to make an animal appear larger, and hence more fierce to it's opponent. Of course, human body hair is far too sparse to create any visual threat, so goosebumps are essentially useless to us.

It has been argued that more primitive versions of man had significantly more hair than we do, which would explain the vestigial presence of them in modern humans.

So which makes sense?

Humans have vestigial goosebumps because we descended from a primitive hominid that once used them for survival...

or

God made goosebumps in animals as a SPECIFIC means for their survival, and then copied them IDENTICALLY on humans, even though they serve absolutely no useful purpose for our survival.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

Obviously you believe in evolution. So . . . if you believe goosebumps serve absolutely no useful purpose for our survival then why do we still get them? If something isn't useful according to the evolution theory it eventually stops being reproduced you dummy. Therefore THERE MUST BE A GOD who means for us to have those goosebumps. Goosebumps are something you experience when something touches your soul (in addition to being cold).

Like tears which are only necessary to cleanse the eye - so why do humans cry when their hearts hurt - what purpose does that serve? None, but God wanted us to be able to express our pain so we cry tears when WE hurt - not just when the EYE is hurt.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

How does it feel to live a life without hope and purpose to just merely exist?I just can't fathom living a life without God.I must say tho that I respect the fact that you think about these things and are seeking answers.Maybe someday you will believe too :) I hope so. Peace be with you. Report It

goosebumps arent useless noob

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

God is an awesome God. BOOOM you lose!

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

God created everything Pal....even 'goosebumps"

Get over it.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

Perhaps creationists have specifically developed their so-called theory to fit around their religion. Maybe that's it.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

first of all i wouldn't call goosebumps useless, second you just answered you own freakin question, so choose a side

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

Don't bother. The faithful are immune to reason. The blinders are super-glued to their eyes.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

goose bumps cause our hair to become straight or watever and this keeps more heat in than if they were folded over. and just because somthing is useless doesnt mean it proves evolution correct it just means there is an underlying purpose for it. boy that took lik all my brain power. and god loves you . he sent his son to die for us on the cross for our sins. he can forgive you of them and thats what gets you into heaven.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

Brad did you actually read that article? It doesn't help your case much.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

"goose bumps" currently limit air from moving away, this is not that signifigant, but it does serve a porpose in modern day hominoids. it does not work in wind, but it does in cold. this is also a remenent of making oneself seem larger. this is not substanchal proof of the anti-inteligent desighn. trust me it is there, but you are looking in the wrong places.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

God made goosebumps in animals as a SPECIFIC means for their survival, and then copied them IDENTICALLY on humans, even though they serve absolutely no useful purpose for our survival.

Man was created before animals....read the Book of Genesis

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

Goosebumps actually raise the body temperature. Goosebumps are caused by cold or fear. The rise in the body temp. helps the body combat cold or fear.

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

He created goosebumps for our pleasure...I actually like them sometimes ; )

Creationists/Intelligent Design proponents, how do you explain goose bumps?

dude. do you really think that you proved creationism wrong because you THINK that goosebumps have no purpose. look whose believing in fairy tales...

Vitamin C and hot showers?

well i heard that vitamin C makes your hair grow and my friend was telling me that taking hot showers burns the hair follicle which stops hair to grow because the hot water burns it and causes dandruff

Vitamin C and hot showers?

Biotin, and possibly a B-Complex vitamin are both good for your hair. Hot water is very harsh on your hair, so you may want to temper it down a bit.....

Red bump on testicle?

ok i have been tested for gonorrhea and chlamydia and the results have some back negative.... i got a 20 minute test to see if i have hiv the results were negative... i have to go back in a month to get retested and then again in about another 3 months.... i hope that the results stay the same... since this who ordeal.... i have developed what seems to be a little red pimple on my scrotum... this could be a ingrown hair follicle or syphilis

it doesn't hurt or anything ..... it hasn't leaked puss or blood and no hair is sticking out of it... my throat lymph nodes seem a little swollen... do you think i have herpes or syphilis.. swollen lymph nodes also come from stress i hear.... ok what im really asking is.... std or ingrown hair follicle...... i did go to the doctor and they thought maybe i strained my groin muscles from shoveling snow........ ok w/e please respond with some answers...

Red bump on testicle?

It is possible to have herpes based on your symptoms, but it is best to be tested. If you still have the bump, you may be able to have it cultured by a dr to get a result right away.

Commonly you develop swollen lymph nodes in the groin area, along with some flu like symptoms. If you feel along the the area where your legs begin you can tell if it is your lymph node that is painful or your muscles. The bumps often do not hurt at first. For many people they don't really bother them at all. It is very common form people to assume they have an ingrown hair or infected follicle.

You really should have a herpes test done either way since up to 90% of those who have it are not aware of it. If the current test comes back negative, get tested again in 3 months. It can take that long for the antibodies to show in your system. Way too often doctors dismiss the idea of their patients having herpes, and fail to test them when they in fact have it. If your dr does not want to test you, insist on it or go to another dr.

Red bump on testicle?

prolly herpes if u had a swollen gland

Red bump on testicle?

There is no way in the world that people on the internet can tell what is wrong from your decriptions when the people who know how to answer your questions need time to carry out the tests. Stop worrying, do something else and wait patiently for your doctor to provide the results. All we can do is keep our fingers crossed. Good luck.

What is wrong with my skin?? helllllppp!!?

on my legs where the hair follicles comes out it is a small black circles but the hair still comes out. i have had it since i can remember and have tried so much but since it is where the hair follicle comes out im not sure what to do about it. it doesnt hurt or itch or anything but i just want to know what it is. i have tried shaving it but the small black circles are still there.

What is wrong with my skin?? helllllppp!!?

It's called ingrown hair. You say the hair comes out, then this means there are two hair fibers coming from the same root and one is ingrown. This is a common problem of women as we're shaving and using epilation machines. I think waxing is the best way to prevent this.

In order to solve your problem, you may use ingrown hair products. Here are some:

What is wrong with my skin?? helllllppp!!?

It's ingrown hair.

I think I have folliculitis BUT... I only get it on my legs after I use this one product.?

The product is Sally Hansens Leg Makeup. It's pretty much like makeup for your legs. It make it look like you have a tan. I used to use a regular kind and this wouldn't happen. But since I've used the waterproof kind, I've been breaking out in these little blisters that pop and have a clear fluid inside them. Sounds just like folliculitis but I'm not sure. It's definitly in my hair follicles b/c sometimes, in the center of the blister, the hair will just slip out... like the follicle is dead. I've probably had about 20 blisters since last month, but again... they only occur after I use this product. I'm thinking the fact that it's waterproof might be clogging my follicles and creating infection. I obviously am not going to use the stuff anymore. Another thing was that I was absolutly FREAKING out because I read that the most common cases of folliculitis occur as a result of HIV. I'm so nervous about this that just today I scheduled to get myself tested! Feedback anyone??????

How can I improve this? (Electric razors)?

I have ingrown hairs all scattered around the sides and back of scalp. The hot wash cloth trick made alot of my ingrown ahirs in the back of my hair emit this white hair follicle. I then pick it out when it dries and it goes away. My main concern are these bumps. I still have some bumps but they are beneath my skin but are visible. I also had bumps on my side with black hair (my hair color) stick out of the bumps, is this good? When they look buried, does that mean the process is healing, as for my other question, do electric razors cause ingrown hairs? As i have this circle type ona nd you are supposed to shave against the grain.

How can I improve this? (Electric razors)?

I really don't have an answer to your question. I am assuming that you get these bumps on the back of your neck area because your hair cut is like a buzz cut almost. My fiance has this problem too. He has had it since he started shaving his hair this way for the military. He went to see a doctor and they prescribed penicillin for the bumps. It went away but I don't think there is anything you can do to avoid it because your hair is probably a bit curly right at the back of your neck. I'm sorry I hope this helps you. I know that he uses the Neutrogena after shave balm cream stuff. It has an active acid ingredient that helps to prevent razor bumps. I know it's for your face but he puts a little on that area to help reduce the bumps.

Will vaccines help or kill your children?

A study published this month in the International Journal of Toxicology, the official journal of the American College of Toxicology, provides the strongest clinical evidence to date supporting the theory that mercury exposure is tied to autism.

The study, co-authored by Mark Blaxill, a director of Safe Minds, suggests a biological mechanism for the hypothesis first advanced by Safe Minds that autism is a form of mercury poisoning and that exposure to the mercury-based preservative thimerosal in vaccines has likely caused neurological damage to thousands of children.

Blaxill, along with co-investigators Amy Holmes, MD and Boyd Haley, PhD, assessed mercury exposure levels among 94 autistic children and 45 normally developing controls. They found higher pre- and postnatal exposures in the autistic group. Then they took a novel approach to measuring mercury distribution in the study subjects during infancy: they collected the first lock of baby hair that had been taken years earlier from each child to determine its mercury content. In a result that appears surprising at first, they found that the autistic hair mercury levels were only a fraction of the controls'.

"Our findings might seem counter-intuitive," says Blaxill, "but if you take into account the higher exposures of the autistic children, you quickly see that these reduced hair levels suggest that less mercury was being excreted by these babies. This is because mercury must be in the blood in order to be taken up by the hair follicle, and mercury must be in the blood in order to be eliminated from the body. If it's not in the hair, then it is not in the blood. And if it's not in the blood to be eliminated, more mercury is retained and available to cause neurological damage in infants who subsequently develop autism."

One finding of the study that will be sure to draw attention is the relatively high levels of mercury in the hair of normal infants. These levels appear to be a direct result of the number of mercury-containing amalgam fillings in the mother, as well as the mother's fish consumption, during pregnancy. Many popular fish species contain high levels of mercury. These results appear consistent with the notion that mercury levels in women of child-bearing age are already dangerously high. Thimerosal-containing infant vaccines can then push vulnerable children over the edge.

"This study provides the clearest proof we have seen so far," said Sallie Bernard, executive director of Safe Minds, "that small differences in mercury exposure and detoxification ability can drive huge differences in the brain development of small children. Recent studies sponsored by vaccine health officials that have attempted to reassure parents about the safety of so-called "low dose" mercury exposures from vaccines have completely failed to assess individual sensitivity to this neurotoxin. It only takes one child in 100 to have reduced excretion capacity and you can have an epidemic of neurological disease on your hands."

Will vaccines help or kill your children?

Um, exuse me? They proved that non-autistic children have higher levels of mercury in their hair, and somehow this means that mercury causes autism? Does anyone else smell a non-sequiter? They PROPOSED a mechanism of non-excretion, but with the information you provide, they did not prove it, or even support it by any stretch of the immagination. They didn't test the non-excretion hypothesis, they only found higher levels of mercury in non-autistic kiddos. One might even argue that the LACK of vaccines causes autism. This is an appaling case of making the data fit your pre-determined conclusions.

it is for you to choose.

Will vaccines help or kill your children?

Wasn't that recent. Articles appeared in 2003/4.

Will vaccines help or kill your children?

I think that they have potential to kill. There are many adverse vaccine reactions that go unreported. Also many SIDS occur shortly after vaccinations, but the CDC would never own up to any of that. Anyways there are too many toxic substances in vaccinations, and I will not be taking that risk with my children. My right to waive vaccines will be used!

Will vaccines help or kill your children?

There really is nothing good that a mercury compound can do for a child's brain. It should not be debated, just banned.

Do we really need some large scale study when it has been known for over a century the mercury is a cumulative neurotoxic metal.

Forget Autism, its bad for the brain peroid.

There is a lot of unethical and deceptive pressure by the drug companies to force parents to get Hepititis B vaccinations. The schools will out an out lie (or maybe they were lied to themselfs) about the laws regarding required vaccinations.

The vaccine for Lyme disease was out for two years before they realized it actually caused lyme disease. It is good to wait a couple of years before using a new vaccine.

But just like Microsoft selling defective software, drug companies that tout products which cause health issues later make more money with a defective product than a safe one.

Shaving my legs haor follicles are dark and thick?

when I shave it looks like I didnt the hair follicles are thick and dark so it looks awful and my legs look like i didnt just shave how can i reduce this appearence so the look smooth and nice

Shaving my legs haor follicles are dark and thick?

wax

Shaving my legs haor follicles are dark and thick?

Shaving my legs haor follicles are dark and thick?

i have the same problem. What I do is shave right before I go somewhere, not the night before. Then apply like bronzer it makes the hairs less visable. Or better yet dye your leg hair. If you can dye your hair on your head you can do it to your legs.

Shave//GrowBackFaster//True?Fa...

"*Shaving: this can cause stubble and/or razor burn, but despite popular belief, it actually doesn't cause the hair to grow back thicker. The hair may LOOK thicker as it's growing in (because you'll see the blunt end where the hair was cut as opposed to the thinner end of the hair), but rest assured that nothing you do to hair ABOVE the skin (i.e. trimming, shaving, bleaching, etc.) will make the hair grow back thicker. Likewise, keep in mind that whenever you pull a hair out of the hair follicle (not including electrolosis), it WILL grow back thicker and darker eventually. I hope this helps and good luck with everything!"

//This is a quote from another question (best way too remove hair). Is that part of the answer (the quote) true about when you shave it is just a myth it grows back faster. Or is he right in saying it's untrue? If anyone who has some facts on the matter would like to give 1 or 2 links that would be greatly apreciated. Ty

Shave//GrowBackFaster//True?Fa...

Eventually it will reach a point where the speed of growth, and thickness will stay the same.

Some guys grow hair faster, and thicker than others, but once that threshold is reach, thats pretty much it.

I personally wet shave as the first step, and used a foil electric shaver from there on.

I can go indefinitely without ever wet shaving again. And my face is just as "baby booty" smooth.

Works for me.

Shave//GrowBackFaster//True?Fa...

i posted that, and its very true. i'm a licensed cosmetologist, and while i was in school, i read/heard that over and over again because it is a VERY common myth.

think about it. hair goes through different growing styles, so theyre different lengths. when you cut them all off to the same length, its going to look and appear thicker when it grows because it is now all the same length.

Can electrolysis help the acne on my legs?

Currently, I shave my legs with a normal razor or an electric one but I get really bad razor rash from that. I also have acne on my legs. I'd like to get electrolysis done on my legs someday. Will electrolysis help the acne as well as get rid of the hair? You would think so because it seems like the hair follicles are blocked and that's what is causing the acne on my legs. So if there weren't any hair there, the follicle would not be blocked. Any thoughts?!

Can electrolysis help the acne on my legs?

Electrolysis would only help you in getting rid of your hair not acne. In fact I have memories of some people who have made their acne worse with it. So I would recommend you use something else to treat your acne. My favorite to treat body acne is zenmed's body acne combo. It's effective in preventing new acne from forming, healing the existing acne and prevents pores from clogging and creating scars.

Can electrolysis help the acne on my legs?

Not sure, There are a variety of ways to treat acne and many acne sufferers have found that the natural types of acne treatments can be effective at helping to stop your acne and no negative side effects.Log on to http://tipsfromruby-acne.blogspot.com/ for a few home made tips to heal acne .

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

I have heard many good (like leaves hair smooth silky shiny etc..) and many bad (leaves a wax on yr hair to make you think it works, burns yr hair follicle or whatever it's called) things about pantene. I have semi coarse, dry, straight hair that breaks very easily. Its so brittle I can hear it *snapping* everytime I brush it. From my shoulder it is about 6 inches down my back. It is also very prone to split ends. Some proof would help, not just opinions. Thank you so much in advance. God Bless.

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

hey hey hey. I have curly hair which was really dry and started using the pantene shampoos and conditioners. I can tell u now how good that product is. I was also skeptical at first but the results were there. Give it a try u wont regret it. U can also tr Garnier or Promesse they are all GOOD haircare products I ran out of Pantene conditioner just the other day and I tell you theres no other product that as good as that. Good luck girlfriend

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

Wow, I can tell you I never expected all those people to vote! I just wish that many would answer my questions! ;-D Report It

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

I don't have website proof, but personal experience. I have the same problem with my hair breaking, etc. I used pantene for several years, and it was better than other shampoos. HOWEVER, Finesse seemed to work the best for me. Hardly any breakage now.

Good luck

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

well, i used to bleach my hair so it was extremely dry, so i started using pantene because the publicity was so good, for me it worked a lot, they say ten days for results, in my case they only were 3, it really helps, it makes your hair stronger and shinnier, so, it's no my opinion, i'm talking from experience, and in my case it didn't leave any kind of residues in my hair, so, go ahead, USE IT!!, oh, also try bonnawell, it's veeeeeeeery good

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

I currently use Panteen Pro V. I've used different types of the brand for years- never really had a problem. I do now, use "Relaxed %26amp; Natural" which is for women of color, or hair that breaks and needs moisture. It smells amazing! I used it last night, and it always makes my hair nice and silky! Why not try Nexxus products? They're a bit more expensive then Panteen, but it's good stuff. I use both, switching it up every other wash or so, to decrease buildup- which, by the way, will happen if you use a particular type too long.

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

I have used Pantene for about 7 yrs. I do road construction in the sun and wind all day. It is the best thing I have found that is not from the salon. My hair is down to my rear.

Pantene prob? Just need some info. Anything will help.?

I had a hairdresser tell me it was bad because it had alcohol in it but then the stuff she tried to sell me had alcohol in it too LOL. Just trying to get me to buy her stuff. Any way I have used Pantene for years. Every so often I switch to different brand...I'm a sucker for the ones with samples or buy one get one free and there is none better in the price range. Paul Mitchell and Nexxus are good, but to me, the results are the same and Pantene costs less.

Beard stop growing?

Im 15 and grow rough sideburns and a light moustache and some chin hair not alot i recently used an electric shaver and some of the hair on my sideburns and chin did not grow back and now their are spots of baldness on my beard will the hair grow back? have i damaged the hair follicle? if i use rogaine will the hair grow back or is there no point because the follicle is damaged?

Beard stop growing?

Im 14 early bloomer i suppose i am not sure u damaged it sometimes it just takes linger to grow back

Beard stop growing?

NO, AN ELECTRIC RAZOR CANNOT DAMAGE THE HAIR FOLLICLE!! You'd have to get 'UNDER' the Skin for that! You are SAFE!

Perhaps when you shaved it was uneven and you didn't realize it.

If it grew there before....it Will GROW back...not too worry!

I see that with my Beard, every now %26amp; then...%26amp; I have a real full beard and use a Turbo Razor, not Electric....but, it ALWAYS grows BACK %26amp; evens out! The more you shave the THICKER it will become.

Be Patient....lol..lol...it'll be fine!

Beard stop growing?

You are fine. Shaving only cuts off dead tissue, it doesnt damage the hair follicle. Just have patience, it will grow back in. Don't mess with rogaine, you don't need that chemical in your system since you are still developing, and it could cause adverse hormonal effects.

Do eyebrows follicles get permanently damaged by plucking them once?

hi! if you plucked half of your eyebrows once which never occured before and the hairs that you have plucked have been plucked just on this one occasion, does that mean they won't grow back fully and the that the hair follicles are permanently damaged? I have thick dark eyebrows and not a lot of fine eyebrow hairs. Thanks!

Do eyebrows follicles get permanently damaged by plucking them once?

A while ago when I was getting my eyuebrows waxed, the girl who was doing it was having a hard time getting a few random hairs from both of my eyebrows. She then asked me if i plucked my eyebrows, and then said that if i pluck, it can actually make the hairs harder to get out. I dont think that either waxing of plucking can ruin the folicle. I think its like shaving, the first time you shave, the hair grows back so dark and thick.

Do eyebrows follicles get permanently damaged by plucking them once?

I think you'd have to get them waxed to get them permanently damaged but I'm a guy so what do I know lol

Do eyebrows follicles get permanently damaged by plucking them once?

No. I have been plucking mine for many years. At least 2 to 3 times a week. And they still grow in normal.

Is This True?

Because each hair follicle is programmed to produce a certain number of hairs in its lifetime. By removing the hair from the root the follicle is stimulated to produce its next hair more quickly than it would have done if the hair had been shed naturally. The follicle then gets through its programmed number of hairs more quickly after which it will stop producing a hair.

So is it true?

Thanks So Much!

Is This True?

False. Hormones in part control hair growth. Pulling the hair out over time will destroy the hair bulb and that will cause hair growth to stop.

Is This True?

True, and if you keep pulling hair it gets longer quiker, and thicker

Eyebrow follicles help!?

From a young age my eyebrows never came in right, I only have some sparse hairs. I get the feelinga large number of hair follicles didn't open, which is the case for my upper arms which have a high number of small pimple things (my mum has the same). Usually when I pop one of these a hair comes out. Is there some kind of special treatment or something to cure my eyebrow thing? Everywhere I go people call me the eyebrow guy and "the chinese dude" and I'm not chinese at all.

Thanks.

Eyebrow follicles help!?

Keratosis follicularis spinulosa decalvans: a rare familial variant of Kertaosis pilaris which results in bald areas on the scalp and eyebrows.

Welcome to how most of the rest of the world feels. Unfortunately you sound like you have Keratosis Pilaris. It's just a genetic thing(usually inherited from parents) that affects about 40% of the adult population and upwards of 80% of teens. Sometimes it goes away as you get older, sometimes it doesn't. It can show up on your face, but it's more usually on the backs of the upper arms, and can show up on the thighs as well, but I've heard of it being elsewhere too. There's no cure and no one treatment that's been proven to work for everyone. If there's no cure, kinda makes you wonder how the people in hollywood have such perfect skin..but of course they can afford to spend thousands on it. If it's extremely bad, see a dermatologist about it and there are prescriptions that supposedly help.

Here are some helpful tips:

Since people that have it often have dry/very dry skin in that area, daily exfoliation helps. Don't overdo it though or that'll make it worse. Dry exfoliation is best. Before you hop in the shower, gently exfoliate the ares that have it(you can do an all over exfoliation weekly) and then get in the shower. A user from the KP website forum recommends using a semi-smooth stone to exfoliate because it's better than a loofah, but not as harsh as a pumice stone.

Moisturize! Intense moisturizers are supposed to help the skin.

Things with lactic acid and urea can help.

Read the forum on the second website, there are lots of ideas on how to treat it and different things that have helped different people.

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

I閳ユ獡 a very clean person, I live in a nice house, so on and so forth, how can this happen to me? Ok so for one, I think I have some new kind of lice or something. I have never had head lice before but I looked online and found out a bunch of info on it, and what I have is quite different. I noticed a very small white thing in my hair that was paper thin, and completely rapped around my hair follicle. And when I say paper thin, I mean paper thin. There was absolutely nothing to it, and it was ALL the way around my hair, not on just one part of it, like they said head lice eggs are. It looks like a piece of skin that came off at the base of my scalp around my hair. I think it has to be head lice though, because it didn閳ユ獩 just fall off. Anyway when I pulled out the hair, there was the same thing at the base (under my skin, if that makes sense), like this long white piece of skin- or whatever it was. Please, please help. Does anyone know what this is? is it some new kind of lice/head thing?

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

have u slept over at someone's recently? are u in contact with anyone? u could catch lice that way, it doesn't have to mean that u live in trash

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

I have never heard of this. If you have kids they can bring head lice back from school very easily no matter how clean your home is. However, this sounds different. I would get in to see a dermatologist right away just to put your mind at rest.

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

Try using headlice removal cream and comb. Or, go to the doctor's.

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

sorry no head lice, this time,..head lice nitts, are completly diffrent its exactly what it was a piece of skin or dandruff,,try scalp, nitts if you had them they like it around your ears the back of them the neck, and also there got little nippers an you be scatchn like a dingo with fleas try some coal tar shampoo that will fix your scalp.

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

Head lice like clean hair the best! It has nothing to do with how clean you are. It is caught by contact with another person with head lice.

It does sound like an egg (or nit) not the actual bug. Especially if it doesnt just dust off the hair. If it dusts off the hair fairly easily then it is more likely to be dandruff or a bit of dry skin from the scalp.

But if you need to pull it off with your fingernails then it sounds like eggs.

You will need to go the chemist/pharmacy and buy some treatment. You will also need someone to help you to get all the eggs out. Combs often dont get them all out. You need someone to go through your hair thoroughly and remove every last egg (after the treatment wash).

Also then need to clean your sheets, pillows etc.

I work in childcare and a lot of the workers there leave their hair for days without washing or put conditioner in their hair just to make it more oily so that they are less likely to catch head lice! So the fact that you are really clean doesnt matter (unfortunately)!

Good luck

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

well the only thing i really do know about lice is that they go for clean hair bc its easier to get to the root of clean hair rather dirty and greasy and messy

good luck i hope i turns out well!

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

Sounds you may have septic follicles and need a lotion from your pharmacy to clear it. I had it once (picked it up from work or barber shop) and cleared very quickly. Let the chemist have a look or see your doctor for a prescription

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

how much conditioner do you use? because sometimes if you put too much on then not wash it all out it sticks too the skin and it itches like mad. wash you hair again and make sure it's all out. if the itching still wont go away or you see bugs you have lice and u should use mayo (not miracle whip) and leave it in ur hair over night( it makes it so they can't breathe) then wash it twice then burn the bastards but using a straight iron that worked for me. best of luck too you

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

It could be just severe dry skin/dandruff. Try using a shampoo that contains tar extracts. This usually cleans up any scalp problem.

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

It actually does not sound like head lice. I have 2 school age boys and we've dealt with those nasty little critters a time or two. Most head lice cases I've seen start with major itching that leads to the discovery of actual little bugs in the hair and scalp, mostly around the ears and base of the neck. Then you'll also see the nits, or eggs, which look like little white, oval grains of sand that don't shake off. Take a very fine tooth comb and run it through your hair from the scalp to the ends, looking closely at it after each pass...if you have the buggies, you'll pull one or two out.

If you haven't seen any live critters (they look like those little ant lion things you find in the sand in southern states, just smaller), then you aren't likely to have lice. I believe this is a case where the 'chicken comes before the egg'. I've never seen nits without the buggies that lay them...

If it's still a concern, see your doctor. It could be that you've had a clogged hair follicle or pimple which oozed it's contents on to your hair. It could be anything, but it doesn't sound like lice to me.

Is this head lice?? I am absolutely freaking out.?

sounds like the root of your hair that's white and very tiny and would be all around the the bottom. Ive never had lice my self because i eat garlic and use baby oil in my hair once a week. but i have seen people who have had it and believe me if it were lice you would know it. it would be no different then a dog or cat who has fleas. as a matter of fact they look like small clear fleas. and also lice do not like dirty hair they are more out to be on a clean head then a greasy one.

What do you think about cutting your hair? putting grease it in?

a lot of people have said to me, cutting hair makes it grow, but people with dreads, don't really cut theirs and it grows. very long i've seen. past their shoulders. some to their butts.

also, a lot of people have said to me put grease on my scalp. i hear others saying it clogs the follicles. is it better to put it on the dry ends or on the scalp? why or why not.

just wondering.

What do you think about cutting your hair? putting grease it in?

CUTTING it doesnt help it grow (this just gives you a new styles) but TRIMMING does. Trimming gets rid of the dead ends/split ends, which make your hair healthier and appear better.

Hair grows no matter what so that's why people with dreads hair still grow.

Yes grease and other things DOES clog up the pores in your scalp which isnt good at all. Its best to put conditioners and such on the ends and all over your hair to keep it healthy instead of pouring it all on the scalp

What do you think about cutting your hair? putting grease it in?

trimming is necessary for the health of your hair. and grease is just nasty. it will shine, sure, but its disgusting.

Last night after having intercourse, I noticed a swelling on the left side of my vagina, the inner and outer lips are both swollen but only on the left side. It is defiantly visible to the eye. Its not a lump or a hair follicle because it is the whole left side of the labia. Thank you for your help!

Best shampo to grow thicker hair?

i don't know if my hair is thinning or not, but it looks as if there are alot more spaces between the follicles then there were before and i can see my scalp more. It's growing out from being shaved and not even 1cm long yet, maybe i am just being paranoid and should just let it grow out and see what happens.

Best shampo to grow thicker hair?

As far as I know there is no product that will make your hair grow back, if there was they would not be any bald people. There are products that can help with the speed of growth, but not if the hair is already lost. My mother is a hair dresser from what she has told me there are products that can make your hair appear fuller, thicker. Some things you can do is not wearing a ball cap, it can block hair folicals, reduce growth. Also you may want to talk to your hair dresser, or a dermatoligist. You can use vitamin E, the oils in that help stimulate hair growth. There is a shamppo that you can get over the counter that is not to pricey it's called Maine and Tail shampoo and conditioner

Does laser hair removal work?

like how long doe sit take to get all the hair to fall out..or what do they do to do it.......does it last like 4ever..even on extremely hairy ppl wit like overactive follicles ..wit h air thats dark thick and coarse? whats the usual price range? whats the best place to get it done...who knows good places in chicago that arent them most $$? thanks!!

Does laser hair removal work?

i don't know detail about laser treatment.

but it really works.

Does laser hair removal work?

infact..coarser hair responds better to laser treatments...

mostly,the treatment takes 4-5 sittings...

and the time taken also depends on the area to the treated..

dunno abt places in chicago

Does laser hair removal work?

Plucking (tweezing), Shaving, Depilatory creams and Waxing are temporary hair removal methods. Waxing usually lasts for 3 weeks, but it is painful. Electrolysis and laser hair removal are "permanent" hair removal methods but are expensive and you have to find a trained professional, otherwise your skin could be damaged. A review of the various hair removal methods is available at http://3rc.info/

Does laser hair removal work?

Generally you will need 4-6 Tx to get 95% of the hair. It will probably work better on someone with overacive follicles becuase of the way the laser works. Pricing can be between $50 and $500 per treatmetn depending on the size of the area treated. For good provider options, go to http://www.HairRemovalForum.com or call 888.517.4187. The site only lists providers who have received positive survey results from previous customers and they have a number of Chicago options.

Does laser hair removal work?

It is the one thing that really works and with permanent results. After a few amount of sessions, depending on your hair(quality and quantity)you'll be hairless, just be careful choosing the appropriate person to do it.

Does laser hair removal work?

You have to keep going back up to 10 times to permanently remove the hair. It's not a one shot deal. I opted for electrolosis myself. Laser is quite expensive. It supposedly works better on dark hair though. It doesn't fall out right away either. My husband had it done and it didn't work at all!!

Is hair removal a good thing to consider for acne-prone skin?

I use a cream hair remover on my cheeks and upper lip to remove noticeable hair. I notice that when the hair starts to grow back in, I break out in the area a little. I was thinking that it is a result of infected follicles that become pimples. I am considering electrolysis. Any suggestions, comments or warnings?

Is hair removal a good thing to consider for acne-prone skin?

No. You don't need to do that. Here's the deal:

None of the meds worked for me. I had horrible acne, and I figured out how to clear it up myself. Here's my routine that got rid of my acne; do this every day and in a few weeks time you'll look a lot better:

1) Drink 8-10 glasses of water per day

2) Eat lots of Fiber... 20-30 grams per day

3) Vitamin A supplement...or, eat a handful of carrots

This will get rid of your acne better than anti-biotics, differin, salic acid, and everyhting else I tried. I used to wash my face morning and night. Now I just take a shower every other day, and I'm cool. Don't have to worry about acne.

Another misconception... YOU DON'T OUTGROW ACNE. People say you do... but, they are wrong. So, don't wait for it to just go away. Tackle this problem now w/ the method I prescribed and you'll be cool

Is hair removal a good thing to consider for acne-prone skin?

Here is a suggestion. Mix some cinnamon %26amp; honey in eqeal parts, (1teaspoon Honey+1teaspoon Cinnamon) %26amp; put on your face. Leave it overnight. It helps the skin be softer. Hope this helps.

Calling all hairdressers!! Help!!?

Ok, i love my hair and always have, but i used to have very thick wavy hair up until i was 14, but my teen years of dying my hair many times, and endless straightening everyday, and now blow drying, my hair has become split but not just on the ends. Now i have thin hair (which i dont mind!) but its really split! I use a heat protector most of the time and use a wonderful reccomended shampoo and cond, but should i be using a weekly treatment or something, ADVISE ME!! lol i want my nice hair back! (im getting regular trims but doesnt help the whole hair being split) the only thing that remotely works is using cold water at the end of washing my hair to seal the hair follicle or whatever it is!

Calling all hairdressers!! Help!!?

It seems crazy to recommend any sort of color at this time, but I would suggest you get a color glaze.

This is a demipermanent-type of dye that won't damage your hair, but will seal the cuticle, improving the look of your hair.

Calling all hairdressers!! Help!!?

try getting regular cholesterol treatments...it sounds rly rly gross but its amazing and rly rly good for your hair

Calling all hairdressers!! Help!!?

U should get redkin all soft shampoo and cond. it works super good on all hair u can get it at younkers if your store has a hair place in it or u can get it at other hair places its about 14$ dollars a bottle its expensive but its really worth it.

Calling all hairdressers!! Help!!?

you need a protein conditioner. go to a salon or beauty school (they are cheaper) and get a deep conditioning treatment and ask for a protein treatment. do this weekly. At the school I went to...deep conditioning treatment cost $5!

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

I have heard that if one shaves off hair, it grows back thicker. However, I know a young man who when young had a thick healthy head of hair. but had shaved it totally for about 7-8 yrs. When he decided to let it grow in once again.....it came in very sparse and thin and he appears to be balding at the age of 29. Could those years of shaving head damaged the follicles?

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

Nope, that's an old wives' tale (where'd that term come from anyway?).

He was already genetically predetermined to go bald naturally. Either that or from stress. If you know members of his family who are bald (from Dad to Aunt Gertrude), well there's your answer.

He might as well just resume shaving. It's not a big deal. He's already used to being bald as a choice. He probably looks sharp if he kept it shaved for so many years.

Don't encourage him to get a rug (rugs are for the floor, BTW) or a hair "system". And definitely do not get him to waste his hard-earned money on pills, potions, and lotions. The chances that they'll work for him are slim, and if they do work, he'll have to adopt the regimen for the rest of his life, otherwise any growth will fall out upon discontinued use.

I get the feeling he's not stressing over it, though. You're just addressing this matter here as a curious, concerned friend. He's obviously confident in himself, so he'll be fine.

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

He is going bald naturally.

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

He's gone bald not for shaving but by his genetic evolution.

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

I wouldn't think so. Perhaps he was going to be bald (or balding) anyway and due to his shaving didn't notice until he tried to grow hair again after all those years.

Being a woman, I can tell you that shaving leg hair doesn't affect it growing back just as thick...and we tend to do it from our early teens until we're senior citizens. I don't see why head hair would be different with re: to shaving...

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

I don't think so it's fine to cut it ask a hair expert to find out for sure.

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

no shaving isn't the reason shaving actually is healthy for the hair..its the genetic eveloution..if ur becoming bald..buy aloe and everyday after a shower rub it all over ur hair..or use olive oil if u don't belive try it i know people like that going bald and did that got thier hair back! its the natural way

Can constant shaving of hair on head cause permanent damage?

No, it cannot cause damage. What you shave is above the follicle and shaving does not do anything to that. If your follicle gets damaged, then you will have permanent damage.

Hair was falling; I lost thickness, currently on Biotin, with Emergencee Reconstructor..?

Hey everyone, around august or so I noticed that my hair was losing its thickness it always had, I used to blowdry everyday for high school and use Joico ICE Spiking Glue in my hair, everyday I washed it out using ICE's special shampoo and I made sure all of it came out. What looks like what happened was that ICE weakened my hair and the constant falling of it while losing thickness scared me. I purchased Biotin shampoo, vivagen shampoo along with it's scalp treatment and Paul Mitchell's Tea Tree Shampoo and Conditioner. I knew the main thing was to ensure a clean scalp so the follicles could breathe to ensure growth. That's exactly what the Tea Tree did along with the Vivagen, I used the biotin in terms of strengthening the hair and every week or so the Nexxus reconsructor would be worked in and then be conditioned to retain moisture balance. I notice little improvement and it looks like I'm running out of options, I want back that thick hair I always had... any suggestions?

Hair was falling; I lost thickness, currently on Biotin, with Emergencee Reconstructor..?

To gain thickness, try the Nioxin system. There are several different lines of shampoo, conditioner, and styling products, for various kinds of hair. My fiancee had seriously thinning hair due to a hormone imbalance, and it has gotten a lot thicker since she started using it.

You may also want to check out http://www.longhaircommunity.com for more information than you could ever want on growing long, healthy hair. Most of the people there tend to focus on natural hair care, and they're always full of good ideas. Even if your goal isn't long hair, they can answer your questions about maintaining healthy, thick, shiny hair.

Hair was falling; I lost thickness, currently on Biotin, with Emergencee Reconstructor..?

I think it is the accident of Zinc_shortage and I suggest you to use "Zinc Sulphate" capsules.

Wish the health for you !

Hair was falling; I lost thickness, currently on Biotin, with Emergencee Reconstructor..?

I had the same problem as you. I went thru a treatment with a company called Hair Club. Even though it was a very expensive treatment it worked really well. After I was done with my treatment, I got pregnant and the change in my hormons made me lose the hair again after the baby was about six months old. So one of the products they used is just like Rogain ( the same ingredients) so I started using Rogain. It worked wonderfully. But this product is one that you have to use probably for life. I have to say it's a bit annoying because it's oily and it irritates your scalp. But it's the only product that really has worked for me. I started losing my hair when I was very young( 17 years old). Again, I have tried everything out there, this is the only thing that has worked. Go to their web site first if you prefer and read about it. You could even call them too.

One more detail, you could use extra strengh Rogain for better results, even if your female. They don't recommend it, but I consulted a dermatologist and he said that it was fine. So another thing you could do is see a dermatologist if you want to be extra sure. I wish you luck!

So.... Question about the old hair issue.?

Dads bald... Im 18 almost 19, and im noticing a receding line, and the color of the hair is starting to fade along with the strength of the follicles. Most of the time, im like "whatever, definitely not the end of the world" but other times, i feel pretty shitty. Im a good looking guy, with a girlfriend that i dearly love, but I cant seem to shake the whole insecurity issue... Its really not something i like dragging around everyday, as its almost as if im living my life too focused on being afraid of the future. (Aka: balding) Any useful advice? Chicks that dig bald guys? etc etc.

So.... Question about the old hair issue.?

Don't be so vain. Life is about more than hair and looks. I think bald men are extremely sexy, especially if kept clean and in shape. You have a gf so why worry. No one is perfect and going bald for men is part of life. I'd never judge anyone on something so superficial.

So.... Question about the old hair issue.?

well, I dont think its a big deal, people dont see hair when they look at someone they see whats on the inside, I think men are attractive by their attutides and personalities.. so if someone brings you down over something like that they need help.. I like bald men,., I used to have a crush on one of my teachers he was bald.. it can be a sexy thing.. if you dont like it theres so many hair treatments and plugs.. so do what you think is best

So.... Question about the old hair issue.?

When my husband was told her was going bald by the barber i said"shave it" then grow it back so that when you do go bald than you wont care because you already where once before . lol and he never cared about it again after he shaved it that once. sometimes we have to be desensitised and we can move on good luck

So.... Question about the old hair issue.?

My boyfriend (31yrs old)is a lil' baldy and I think he is soooo sexy! He is already good looking and I can't even imagine him with hair...in fact I have never seen him with hair..LOL Although I've never asked, but I think he had the whole receding hair line thing, I can kind of tell, but I don't even care cuz he looks so much sexier with his bald head, than he would be with his patchy hair line. Nothing is wrong with bald. Some men can carry it VERY WELL and it's kind of the in thing anyway. Most women I know find it sexy. Bottom line....if it's getting patchy get rid of it. It will look pretty bad..Get rid of it all!

So.... Question about the old hair issue.?

Look, if you are worried, see your doctor and discuss what can be done. Maybe there are natural remedies you could try, too. It doesn't hurt to take preventive action. You may just have a receding hairline and it may not lead to baldness.
