What do you think about cutting your hair? putting grease it in?

a lot of people have said to me, cutting hair makes it grow, but people with dreads, don't really cut theirs and it grows. very long i've seen. past their shoulders. some to their butts.

also, a lot of people have said to me put grease on my scalp. i hear others saying it clogs the follicles. is it better to put it on the dry ends or on the scalp? why or why not.

CUTTING it doesnt help it grow (this just gives you a new styles) but TRIMMING does. Trimming gets rid of the dead ends/split ends, which make your hair healthier and appear better.

Hair grows no matter what so that's why people with dreads hair still grow.

Yes grease and other things DOES clog up the pores in your scalp which isnt good at all. Its best to put conditioners and such on the ends and all over your hair to keep it healthy instead of pouring it all on the scalp

trimming is necessary for the health of your hair. and grease is just nasty. it will shine, sure, but its disgusting.
