Putting medication on eyelash follicles?

I have to put this medication on my eyelash (upper %26amp; lower) hair follicles, its basically a vaseline type substance. i am using a q tip right now, the problem is, its not easy to get in between the eyelashes that are there %26amp; not get it into my eye, so thats my question, do you have any ideas on how i can apply this stuff to the hair follicle or in between the lashes that are there other than using a q tip?

GO 2 A BEAUTY SUPPLY STORE AND BUY AN EYELASH COMB. ITS A TINY COMB. TAKE THE MEDICATION AND RUB A LITTLE ON THE COMB AND COMB THRU. THAT SHOULD HELP U START FROM THE LID AND GET IN BETWEEN THE LASH.
