Tattoo and hair?

When you tattoo a part of your body that has hair on it, such as your arm, does the hair continue to grow? Does tattooing damage the follicles?

When you get a tattoo, the needle does not penetrate so deep as to damage the follicle. It's like when you get a cut on your arm or leg, the hair continues to grow. Same with a tattoo.

you shave it when you get the tattoo and it grows back like normal.

The tattoo artist will shave the area but yes the hair will continue to grow back. No it will not damage your hair follicles.

The tattoo studio shaves the area and then tattoos it. The hair grows back normally. No worries.

it gets shaved when you get the tattoo but the hair grows back normally ^_^

It can, and infections can result. I had a case while in the service where a guy ended up with HIV from a tattoo and had a kid got drunk in Japan and ended up with the Japanese flag tattooed on his back, from top of his shoulders to his waist. Can you Imagine what a mess that was to remove.

No, the hair will grow. The artist will shave the part of the skin that they are going to tattoo...but the hair grows back!
