So, I haven't shaved my armpits in like, a week (I'm getting them sugared by a friend-don't ask) and I was taking a look and noticed that the hairs grow out two per follicle.
It's EVERY hair, growing out in 2's, and I don't think it's the actual hair splitting when it leaves the skin or whatever...they're regular-to-large thickness hairs.
Anyone else have this? I realize it's the norm for girls to shave their pits, so if you Don't shave or are a male, answers are greatly anticipated!

Dont worry, your not alone. Mine get like that if I dont shave them every other day. I dont know, female underarms are just plain weird.

i shave but i just dont really care alot of the time and just let it grow and just shave when i feel like it. yeah sometimes it gets so long i cant believe it mysef.. but anyways. yeah that happens to me often. but i dont know if its normalor not.. im thinking it is

it could be pili multigemini..... if it looks like flowers coming out of a vase, then that's probably it. it's not really a problem...... it can be painful, tho. there really haven't been any studies on it about anything, so there's not really a treatment or much advice for how to deal with it. just leave it for now, but if it starts to bug you, ask ur doc! hope this helps! =]
